Flabbergasted—that’s the only word we can think of to adequately describe our reaction to winning the BBAW award for Best Literary Fiction Book Blog. Caribou’s Mom and The New Dork Review of Books, the other shortlisted blogs in our category, are fine blogs, both with excellent writing, smart insights, and (well-deserved) strong followings. The fact that they are such wonderful blogs makes this award an especially big surprise!
Thanks so much to the the BBAW organizers and the judges, as well as to all the participants who voted for us. And thanks most of all to the readers who read and comment here regularly. Your regular interest and support is the best award of all!
